Dumb Fucking Killers and The “Family Gun”

22nd October Nevada school shooting 911 call: ‘I got a kid down who’s been shot’… Monday 6th of May FLORIDA 13-YEAR-OLD FINDS FAMILY GUN, SHOOTS 6-YEAR-OLD SISTER//4-Year-Old Kills 6-Year-Old Sister in Kentucky, 5-Year-Old Shoots Herself in New Orleans, 24 October, ’13: 11-Year-Old Arrested for Bringing Gun and Ammunition to School

America is a culture of killers – a massive growing death cult. One only has to look at American television: endless stories about cops and soldiers killing the “enemy” and then feeling good (or a little bad – mostly self-pity – for a minute)… or celebration of libertarian criminals who blast their way to happiness in the American Dream. As the late great George Carlin said: “The American Dream – you have to be asleep to believe in it.” You’re the only people in the world who won’t admit that you live in a militarized corporate police state that’s getting worse for honest working people everywhere. You swallow the grade school myth that your murderous forays abroad are “spreading democracy,” and that gun and pit bull ownership at home are major “democratic rights.” When you’re not killing Iraqis, Afghanis and Yemenis abroad, you kill each other.  You’re all so dumb, it hurts. Dumb fucking killers. The rest of the world should invade you and take away your guns, because you’re just too fucking stupid to be allowed to have them. What’s really sad is that not every American has a gun, because if you did, you might all kill each other in one final cinematic bloodbath, and then the rest of us could get on with a life of mutual respect, freedom, equality, cooperation and harmony, rather than your worship of power, celebrity, wealth, guns, pit bulls and death.

One Response to Dumb Fucking Killers and The “Family Gun”

  1. E-MAIL FROM A FRIEND: I remember reading that 65% of adult Canadians hold passports, but only 25% of Americans do. The insularity represented by this for the US helps explain why so many Americans still think that the US is the greatest country in the world. There are many ways, I suppose, to define “greatest”. The US does have the largest military force and thereby the greatest capacity to kill and maim. Apart from that honour, the gap between fact and myth here never ceases to amaze me.
